Critics of nutrition will tell you that you can eat whatever you want and just work out to keep your weight or lose weight but I am here to say that this is not the case. Nutrition is the key component to losing and maintaining weight. The reason why what they "the critics" say will not work is becuase in a most cases if you were to eat whatever you choose you could not work out enough to burn the excess calories that you are putting in your body. Lets say I were to eat a cheeseburger and then go to the gym and run. Even if I were to run for an hour straight I still could not burn the calories that I have just put into my body, and that is just one meal. This is the reason why nutrition is a key component to losin and maintianing weight even though some may say that working out is a main part of losing weight.
They may say that all there is to losing weight is working out and nutrition plays no key component but I disagree. I say that a good and healthy diet is the largest part in a goal of weigth loss but this is in best cases combined with a workout regimine that will burn of a little more calories then what you have put in your body. So in the debate of they say, I say, they may say that working out is the larges part of weight lose but I believe that a nutritious healthy diet combined with a workout routine will do the best job for a weight loss goal.

Importance of a Nutritional Breakfast
Big Breakfast May Make you Fat After All
From http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/41177896/ns/health-diet_and_nutrition/
By Linda Carroll
1) This article is aimed at readvising dieters that have in the past been told by nutritionists to eat a larger breakfast to lose weight. A new study within this article proves that in most cases even when someone eats a larger breakfast it does not reduce the size of their lunch and dinner portions. This in the end will a majority of the time have an adverse effect and increase their caloric intake resulting in weight gain.
2a) The assumptions that can be gained when reading this article are that dieters have been told in the past by nutritionists that eating a bigger breakfast will help them lose weight. Also we can assume that the best way to lose weight is to eat smaller meals not to cut out breakfast or eat a large breakfast.
2b) When reading against the grain in this article one thing stuck out as a point that the auther may have sublimitally mentioned is that one diet may work for one person but not for another so the nutritionists may have been giving good advice to a small percentage of dieters but for others this does have an adverse effect.

Why?
I decided to write about nutrition becuase I believe that everyone has the right to be healthy and eat healthy to keep their bodies in shape and live a long healthy life. I think that everyone should know more about what they are putting into their bodies and how it is effecting them and the life that they are living. I want to discus what foods should be eaten and for what reasons as well as how the foods that most americans rely on such as fast food is effecting their bodies. I think everyone should know the best way to live a healthy way of life and to me this starts with the right foods.
